Therapeutic approach

“I provide therapy and psychological assessment within a trauma-informed, psychodynamic, and neuroaffirming framework. My work focuses on helping people understand how early experiences, attachment patterns, and learned relational roles continue to influence emotional wellbeing, self-concept, and relationships in adulthood. Therapy is oriented toward developing insight, strengthening emotional regulation, and supporting more flexible and compassionate ways of responding to psychological and interpersonal challenges.

I have over 20 years’ experience working with individuals across a broad range of mental health concerns, including:

  • childhood emotional neglect and attachment trauma
  • anxiety, low mood, and chronic stress
  • intrusive or distressing thoughts
  • difficulties with self-esteem, identity, or sense of self
  • personality-level patterns, including borderline personality structure
  • post-traumatic stress
  • relationship and interpersonal difficulties
  • experiences related to ADHD or Autism, including masking, burnout, and identity questions

My aim is to provide a safe, reflective therapeutic space where these experiences can be explored with care and depth, supporting greater self-understanding and increased confidence in navigating emotional and relational life”

ADHD and Autism assessments in Perth

“I specialise in ADHD and Autism assessments for adults and adolescents aged 16 and over. Assessments are comprehensive and neuroaffirming, integrating detailed clinical interviewing, validated psychometric measures, collateral information where appropriate, and formulation-based interpretation. Many people seek assessment to gain diagnostic clarity, access workplace or university accommodations, or better understand their cognitive profile, strengths, and support needs. My assessments are evidence-based, clinically rigorous, and designed to be genuinely useful beyond diagnosis.”

Professional background

“I hold a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology, a Master of Clinical Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours. I am a Board-Approved Supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia and have published research in clinical and neuropsychological fields. My professional experience includes private practice, hospital settings, and specialist services, with a consistent focus on ethical, high-quality clinical care.”

Outside the therapy room

“Outside my professional work, I am a married mother of three, a brown belt in martial arts, a health and fitness enthusiast, and a devoted dog lover. These aspects of my life help keep me grounded and support a balanced, sustainable approach to clinical practice.”
